Established in 1991, Ridge Iron Works (RIW) specializes in industrial, commercial and residential steel work. RIW’s expert services range from master rigging and welding, to ornamental design and fabrication, to demolition and the erection of structural steel. With a reputation for on-time project completion and rare job accountability, RIW’s performance is highly respected throughout the metropolitan area. Clients have included the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Coney Island Hospital and Steiner Studios Inc.

Established in 1996, Coggan Crawford Schaut is an architectural and design practice based in Brooklyn, NY. The firm’s work ranges in scale from furniture to buildings, and in type from work spaces to domestic spaces, exhibitions, set designs and toys. The studio’s methodology begins with a pragmatic approach to problem solving and the economics of implementation. Coggan Crawford Schaut maintains a critical balance between a rigorous intellectual process and an intuitive artistic treatment, thereby yielding highly functional yet inventive design. Partner Caleb Crawford has held the Assistant Chair of undergraduate architecture at Pratt Institute since 2002, also teaching at Pratt since 1994. Partner Annie Coggan is a professor at Parsons School of Design. Marc Schaut, partner since 2005, is also a professor at Pratt.

New York ENERGY STAR Labeled Homes use proven technologies and advanced building practices to provide the pinnacle of energy efficiency and to help reduce air pollution. Each New York ENERGY STAR Labeled Home adheres to strict guidelines for high-efficiency and must pass a rigorous evaluation, computer-based energy analysis, inspections and certification testing. The New York ENERGY STAR Labeled Homes Program is developed under the New York Energy $mart SM Program and is funded by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). Introduced in 1995 and sponsored by the United States Department of Energy (DOE) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), ENERGY STAR currently has more than 2,400 builders, developers, retailers and product manufacturers nationwide, all working together to build homes that are approximately 30% more energy efficient.
